In a Battlefield 3 game at 1080p with a high preset, the Core i5-3570K processor showed the following results. On average we managed to get 70.4 fps and in very rare cases – 36.2 fps.
Skyrim came in Ultra preset Full HD resolution. The average framerate in this game was 55.9fps, in extremely rare events – 28.3fps.
Far Cry 3 ran at 1080p on high graphics settings with SSAO. Average FPS here was 70.2fps in very rare events – 21fps.
CoD with balanced preset, Normal AA Quality and 1080p resolution managed to get an average of 69.3 fps on MW2 and in extremely rare events – 34 fps.
Fortnite was running at 1080p with the Medium preset. The average performance in it was 90.2 fps, in very rare events – 8.6 fps.
Cyberpunk 2077 was running at 1080p with Crowds and Textures on Low settings. The average framerate for this game was 46.3fps, with extremely rare events reaching 18.8fps.
At Console Quality and 1080p, Red Dead Redemption 2 ran at an average frame rate of 47.8 fps with very rare events at 22.6 fps.
Elden Ring launched at 1080p with the Medium preset. Average performance in this case was 42.5 fps – 28.9 fps on extremely rare events.
Spider-Man Remastered ran at 1080p on Medium graphics settings. The average framerate in this game was 56.3fps, in very rare events – 23.2fps.
Apex Legends ran at 1080p with the lowest preset and High Textures. On average, the game managed to get 127.7 fps, in extremely rare events – 70.6 fps.
Forza Horizon 5 launched in High preset and 1080p. Average performance in it was 77.4 fps, while its performance in very rare events was 29.1 fps.
In any case, the i5-3570K is already an obsolete processor and cannot be purchased in 2023. You have to be prepared that some games will take a long time to load everything or have poor performance. But overall this processor wasn’t all that bad. On average, it managed to get 69fps on all tested projects.
