Xiaomi has unveiled a prototype AR headset of its own design. The augmented reality glasses feature the iPhone’s Retina display and electrochromic lenses to adjust viewing in different lighting conditions.

Chinese device and electronics manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled a prototype AR Glass Discovery Edition AR wireless AR headset at Mobile World Congress.

Augmented reality glasses are equipped with a Retina display, which is installed on iPhone smartphones. The device is equipped with electrochromic lenses that allow you to adjust the display mode at different levels of illumination. The viewer also has a full immersion mode like in virtual reality headsets.

Wireless AR Glass Discovery Edition weighs 126 grams and runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon XR 2 Gen 1 platform. It is possible to share files between Xiaomi devices using Mi Share technology, you can watch content on YouTube and TikTok on glasses.

Xiaomi has not yet announced the delivery time of the new device and has not announced the price.
