Salt is perhaps the most popular spice in the world. It is known that excess salt negatively affects the cardiovascular system. But salt deficiency is also bad for human health.
A new study has found that people with heart failure may have an increased risk of premature death if they don’t eat enough salt.
As part of the study, the experts analyzed data from nine scientific papers. In these studies, there was information about 3500 heart failure patients. It turned out that people with heart failure who took less than 2.5 grams of sodium per day were 80% more likely to die prematurely.
