The State Duma adopted a law on the simplification of purchases in foreign online stores

The law on the simplified procedure for purchases in foreign online stores was approved by the State Duma in the third final reading.

The document that modifies the corresponding law is published in the legislative support system. The note to the document states that the modifications were made, among other things, to optimize the burden on banks.

Previously, Russians could make purchases in foreign online stores for up to 15,000 rubles without identification only if these stores were registered in Russia. Now the law applies to transfers to companies located outside of Russia.
