The host of the YouTube channel Mrwhosetheboss conducted an interesting experiment. He took the flagship Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept, which can be screwed into a lens for a professional camera, and compared its photo with photos on the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Which still takes better pictures?
Thanks to the additional lens, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept captures twice as much light as before. In addition, the focal length becomes equal to 35 mm, and it is possible to zoom in on an object three to four times without loss of quality.
I chose it instead of advertising.
Judging by the photos above, Xiaomi did a much better job than the iPhone. Because of the greater amount of light, more information and details appear in the images.
However, this technology also has some problems. It is always inconvenient to take such a large lens with you, and such lenses are made for cameras with larger sensors than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept.
