Yandex has released an extended version of the browser for companies: it increases the level of data security, excludes the sending of usage statistics outside the company, and provides access to priority technical support. He said so in a statement.

“Yandex” added priority technical support and protection against trackers in “Browser” for companies

The update is intended for businesses only and is not intended for home users.

  • Tracker protection has been added to the product, making it more difficult for attackers to target specific employees to gain access to internal data across the entire organization.
  • In addition, the extended version of the “Browser” for companies allows you to receive answers when you contact support within an hour. To solve complex problems, it is possible to request a group call with the participation of Yandex developers, engineers and testers.
  • For the first time, organizations have added a personal account for administrators, where you can contact support, follow the change log, and quickly roll back to previous versions. Here is the corporate resources settings panel. In the future, Yandex plans to turn the personal account into a single control center for all company browsers.

“Yandex Browser” for Organizations is included in the Russian Software Registry, runs on Windows, MacOS and is compatible with Russian Linux-based operating systems. The corporate “Browser” can work in closed network circuits, supports CryptoPro electronic signatures, NCA certificates and GOST TLS encryption.
