Rostelecom will buy control of the LeClick restaurant reservation service, sources told Forbes. In the organization itself, negotiations on a possible agreement are denied.
According to one of the interlocutors of the publication, at the first stage, Rostelecom may acquire 50% of LeClick. The company itself did not confirm information about the negotiations.
The LeClick online booking service was launched in 2012 by Anastasia Lyustina, who previously worked at Microsoft. The project offered its own CRM system with electronic billing and document management.
According to his estimates, the company’s revenue for 2019 amounted to about 60 million rubles, operating profit – 19.4 million rubles.
As Anastasia Lyustina told the publication, in March her company acquired a competitive product – the SmartReserve table reservation system. The service belonged to one of the VK structures.
According to the publication’s interlocutors, Rostelecom’s interest in LeClick is most likely related to the company’s desire to create its own ecosystem of lifestyle services. According to a source in the investment community, Rostelecom could become one of the contenders for the purchase of the Bronevik service, which MTS became the owner of in the summer.
