The robots were not acting independently, but fortunately (or unfortunately) they were controlled by curators who went to their cars at the end of the program.

Copernian chief Arnaud Vaillant told The Guardian that “the performance” is “a positive message that people and technology can live together in harmony” and that they are simply beautiful.
