Recently, Whats up It has received a long-awaited update by users: message reactions, a feature already seen in other apps like Instagram and Slack. With six emojis included in this initial release, the messenger promises to add new reactions in the future.

As usual, the update has been gradually released for all messenger users in both mobile and web versions. Now, with the feature reaching more and more people, the issue has become an event on social media. On Twitter, WhatsApp was among the hottest topics this Thursday (12) because of the innovation.

“Finally I won’t have to reply to messages I don’t want anymore, just a reaction and that’s it,” one user on Twitter celebrated. Another internet user commented, “I like how Whatsapp activated another vacuum cleaner”.
