The authors of the new study analyzed data from 3.5 thousand Americans who are in a romantic relationship. Researchers examined the relationship between porn viewing, gender, religiosity, and relationship stability.
They concluded that viewing pornography negatively affects the stability and duration of relationships. The effect was particularly pronounced in religious people. Men were almost twice as likely to be addicted to watching porn and generally preferred hardcore videos.
