The automaker will resume production of electric vehicles on March 13 after a month-long pause in production and shipping to investigate the cause of the defect.

Ford said the cause of the defect was discovered at South Korean battery supplier SK On’s factory in Georgia. The automaker’s press service said the company was not aware of any accidents or injuries related to this defect.

The press service confirmed that the affected cars are at dealers or customers. The automaker is in close contact with the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, which will issue a recall notice next week.
