The network has posted many moon photos taken using this option. However, as the author of the post on Reddit points out, he always doubted the authenticity of these – they seemed too perfect.

The user found a way to verify their predictions. He downloaded a high-resolution image of the moon from the Internet. Then he reduced the resolution to 170×170 pixels and blurred it. The user opened this picture full screen on the computer monitor and then turned off the light in the room and moved it to the farthest corner, zoomed in on the smartphone and took a photo. The author concludes that Samsung’s moon photos are fake. The company’s marketing is deceptive.
