Brazilians who bought Flipper Zero reported that their packages were forwarded to the Brazilian Communications Agency. The official reason is that the devices are not certified by the country’s radio frequency department.
According to experts from the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), the Brazilian regulator has flagged Flipper Zero as a tool that can be used for criminal purposes.
It is worth noting that the negative perception of “Tamagotchi for hackers” helps its users to form themselves. They have repeatedly posted on social networks how they performed illegal actions, such as unlocking other people’s cars.
