China’s Baidu, known primarily as the “Chinese Google”, was no exception. The company plans to launch its own AI-based communication bot as early as March 16. Ernie Bot will be based on neural network.

But, as is known, the Chinese IT giant still has not been able to complete the algorithm – it still cannot cope with all its tasks. In addition, the company’s proprietary chatbot is still in the training phase.

According to company employees who want to remain anonymous, they don’t have enough time to create a good product. The lack of processing power also complicates things.

Recall that earlier Google announced the ChatGPT analogue. The search giant called it Bard. A full demonstration of the project is expected in May as part of Google I/O 2023.
