For example, many expected the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 to feature Samsung’s latest 200 MP camera. Previously launched on the flagship Galaxy S23 Ultra.
But according to insiders, it will not be a miracle – the device will be equipped with the same main camera as the previous model. According to experts, it is currently impossible to attach a Samsung ISOCELL HP2 sensor to the Z Fold 5.
Moreover, the reason for this is not called “impossibility”. Probably, this is simply due to technical problems with the folding mechanism. There is also an option for which the cost of the new sensor is responsible.
Recall that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 is equipped with a 50MP ISOCELL GN3 sensor. It has advanced features like Dual Pixel PDAF and optical stabilization in its arsenal.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to be announced in August as part of the annual Galaxy Unpacked event.
