Russian Post launched a service for express parcel delivery in more than 1,500 branches in 16 major cities – all cities over a million are on the list. This is indicated in the operator message.
For the first time, the express delivery service was launched in Moscow in the summer of 2022. More than 500,000 customers used it last year. One of the main partners of the service is Yandex.Delivery, and local courier companies can also join the project. “Post” also delivers packages using its own couriers.
The average delivery time from branch to home is 38 minutes. Half of all requests for the new service are left by customers in Moscow and St. Petersburg. The next in the ranking by the number of deliveries are Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar.
“In less than a year, we scaled express delivery to more than a million cities, and for many customers it has already become a habit. We plan not only to increase the number of cities, but also to launch additional services that will allow us to receive packages with a radically new level of service,” added Suren Arakelyan, Head of Last Mile Product Development Department.
