Leonid Dovbenko, co-founder of Dubai delivery service YallaMarket, has established a new company with IT services for the restaurant industry. RB.RU found out that this project has several beneficiaries: the co-founders of Open Service (a restaurant automation project) Alexander and Anastasia Buravtsov, Dovbenko himself, and Igor Lazutkin.

In total, 50 million rubles were invested in the project, it will become a “factory for the production of new products for business automation.”

The co-founder of Dubai-based delivery service YallaMarket has established a new company with IT services for restaurants

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, on March 2, Get IT LLC was registered in St. Petersburg, 100% of the shares of this company belong to Leonid Dovbenko. The businessman himself, in conversation with RB.RU, confirmed the launch of a new project and said that it will provide IT solutions for the restaurant industry.

Dovbenko already has business experience in this area. In addition to working at Open Service, in 2015, together with partners, he founded DocsInBox, a service to automate the flow of documents between restaurants and suppliers. He is also a co-founder of YallaMarket, a Dubai-based food tech startup, where orders take up to 2.5 minutes to complete and delivery takes an average of 15 minutes.

Anastasia Buravtsova, managing partner of the Open Service Group of Companies, told RB.RU that Open Service (the Russian legal entity of this company is also 100% owned by Dovbenko) decided to spin off a separate business line for product development and integration. in the HoReCa sector: this is how the Get IT project appeared.

“Get IT”, according to her, is a new business, the task of which is to develop a line of its own catering products: “To speak metaphorically, “Get IT” is a factory, a conveyor for the production of new products for automation and business optimization.

Now within the framework of “Get IT” there are five main products:

  • Get ID is a security service with biometric login,
  • Get Kiosk: self-service kiosk service,
  • Get Wall et is a virtual loyalty card service,
  • Get Mind is a key indicator tracking service for restaurateurs,
  • Get Hub is a delivery service management service.

Buravtsova also clarified that over the past three years more than 50 million rubles have been invested in the Open Service project. Legally Get IT decided to broadcast now.

“At the moment, Get IT, as a company that combines a large number of products under its control, has no analogues or competitors on the market,” added Buravtsova. At the same time, if we consider each company’s product independently, then “there is healthy competition.”

The company is registered in St. Petersburg – most of the employees are concentrated there and the head office is located. Get IT solutions, according to Buravtsova, are already working in the CIS, Dubai, Lithuania and Poland. The plans are to dominate the entire territory of Asian countries.

According to United Investors co-founder Alexander Gorny, every restaurant these days uses IT in one way or another. Gorny reminded that now even the state of the Russian Federation obliges entrepreneurs to connect to Mercury-type systems (designed for electronic certification of products supervised by state veterinary supervision – ed.).

“Obviously, this is not a new market, in most countries the competition is high, there are dozens of players working here in Russia – just look at the Yandex search results for the query “restaurant automation” – there are a lot of ads and they are relevant. But Leonid has a lot of experience in this market, he came to YallaMarket after automation. Let’s hope he can find his niche,” added Gorny.
