Thanks to him, we now know that the country’s authorities are planning to increase the purchase of the fourth generation F-15EX Eagle II fighter from 80 to 104 aircraft. By the way, initially the Air Force planned to purchase 144 fighters of this model.

Meanwhile, it should not be overlooked that Congress may decide to purchase more of these aircraft in fiscal 2024 or in the future. The thing is, it’s Congress that has the final say in passing the annual US military budget.

Recall that earlier in March our colleagues at The Drive wrote that it did not make sense to purchase 80 F-15EX Eagle II fighters from the United States Air Force. Simply because it is a more advanced model – the F-35.
