But the author of the YouTube channel PhoneBuff discovered an unusual nuance in the work of the top model of the series. Unlike the same iPhone 14 Pro Max, the device starts to consume more energy while playing multimedia materials.

This causes the battery to run out faster.

According to PhoneBudd, the reason for this unusual behavior is that Samsung uses a small cutout in the device for the speaker, which makes it difficult for the speaker to pump out sound waves.

As a result, the engineers of the Korean IT giant had to upgrade the built-in amplifier and provide more power to the speaker. Hence the increased battery consumption.

The expert believes that this miscalculation could be made because of Samsung’s priority to protect components from water and dust.
