The parties were able to agree on the supply of equipment under contracts concluded before the special operation in Ukraine out of court, Vedomosti reported.

Since the beginning of 2022, the Russian operator Tele2 has twice gone to court over the refusal of Nokia and Ericsson to supply equipment. In May, a lawsuit was filed against a Nokia subsidiary. Already in November, the operator went to court in connection with Ericsson’s refusal to fulfill obligations under contracts concluded before the imposition of sanctions.

According to Telecom Daily, Tele2 was one of the last to build a network, and in 2021 the operator was the leader in terms of base station commissioning rate. Taking into account that the quality of the networks is at the level, until 2025, when domestic telecommunication equipment should appear, the current reserves will be enough.
