Poco F6: news, features and everything we know so far

Xiaomi has quite an interesting strategy when it comes to releasing some mobile phones in the European market. The Asian company is announcing the same device in China under a different name before it reaches countries like Spain, and also changing some specifications to some that are more common in the global market. This is what will most likely happen with the next one. This new mobile phone will notably come as an update to the Poco F5 or 5 Pro that the company announced in May last year, and while Xiaomi is yet to confirm its global expansion, IMDA certification has revealed that the Redmi K70E will arrive in select countries under the Poco brand . Actually, The certification of the Poco mobile phone shows the same model number as the aforementioned Redmi smartphone.which suggests that the device will change brand, while maintaining almost the same characteristics.

Design and screen: getting closer to premium

It is highly likely that the Poco F6 will have the exact same design as the Redmi K70E. Although the device has not yet been announced in China, some images reveal its possible design. It will come with a completely flat back, highlighted by a photographic module that will be located at the top and, according to the images, will protrude slightly over the edge. It too seems to be made of shiny glass which will give the terminal a more premium and elegant look as the back can also be glassalbeit with a matte finish.

As confirmed by the company, Xiaomi Redmi K70E will be announced in China with a processor Mediatek dimension 8300. So, the Poco F6 could come with this chip, aimed at the upper mid-range, which will enable generative AI features to be incorporated into the devices. In fact, it is the perfect SoC for this model, considering that it will also debut with HyperOS, Xiaomi’s new operating system with artificial intelligence features.
