Foreign IT specialists will be able to obtain a residence permit and find a job in Russia under simplified rules. The permit also applies to members of their families, said Irina Volk, a representative of the Ministry of Interior.
Specialists will be able to enter into employment or civil contracts with accredited IT companies without a work permit.
To obtain a residence permit, you will need a passport, an agreement with the employer, a document on education. The residence permit will be issued by the migration unit of the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia within three months from the date of application.
