VK sold the Virtus.pro subsidiary, an e-sports team, for 174 million rubles. The data is provided in the VK report, published on March 16.
Company-owned esports holding company ESforce announced the sale of Virtus.pro in September 2022, but the transaction amount was not disclosed at the time. The buyer was the Armenian businessman Aram Karamakunyan.
The transaction was carried out almost at the book value of the asset – it was estimated at 161 million rubles.
As previously reported, in 2022, VK’s revenue increased by 19% and amounted to 97.8 billion rubles. Online advertising has become the main source of income.
