Thus, Turkish media published a list of 30 aircraft belonging to Russian airlines: 15 Aeroflot aircraft, 5 S7 aircraft, 4 Utair aircraft, two Rossiya and Yamal aircraft, one AZUR Air and one Icarus aircraft.

According to the newspaper’s report, the only airline affected so far was Icarus, whose RA-73272 plane had to land in Sochi to refuel on its way back.

An airline source told FrequentFlyers that flights to Turkey would not be interrupted due to the refueling ban.

Firstly, because not all aircraft are included in the sanctions list. Secondly, the fact is that for the maintenance of Russian aircraft it is planned to create a special transport organization, which will not be affected by sanctions.
