According to court documents cited by The Verge, Fitzpatrick was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit access device fraud. He was released on $300,000 bail the next day and will appear in court on March 24.

The hacker was involved in a series of hacks, most of which were directed at the FBI. In 2021, Pompurin claimed responsibility for an attack linked to the hacking of Infragard, an organization that sent thousands of fake cybersecurity alerts from an FBI email address and also works closely with the FBI.

A post on BreachForums indicates that the site will continue to operate under its new owner, at least for now.
