AvtoVAZ announced the launch of serial production of the LADA e-Largus electric vehicle using the capabilities of LADA Izhevsk.

This is the first Russian electric car with a domestic battery of “deep localization”. The power reserve of the passenger version is 420 km, the cargo-passenger version – from 320 km, depending on the modification.

The LADA e-Largus is equipped with a synchronous electric motor with a peak power of up to 120 kW. Two traction lithium-ion batteries are located in the engine compartment and under the body floor.

The cost of LADA e-Largus starts from 2,990,000 rubles. As noted by Mash, this cost is indicated taking into account state subsidies, and without them the price is 3.8 million rubles. For comparison, Tesla Model 3 without taking into account US subsidies will cost buyers 3.6 million rubles.
