Retroid Pocket Flip runs on Android 11. The console’s form factor makes it comparable to the Game Boy Advance SP or Nintendo DS. At the top of the clamshell is a 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1334 × 750, and at the bottom – control buttons – D-Pad, two sticks, ABXY buttons and triggers.
The console runs on an 8-core Unisoc Tiger T618, 2.0 GHz, Mali-G52 processor. It has built-in 4GB LPDRR4X RAM, 128GB permanent eMMC, you can also insert a TF Card. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh, the device supports fast charging.
Retroid Pocket Flip is equipped with USB-C connectors, supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.0, and also lets you output images at resolutions up to 720p via microHDMI.
The console will go on sale on March 21. The cheapest model will be $159, while the Sport Red variant will be $165, and only 1,500 of these will be produced.
