Video game developer Ubisoft has introduced the Ghostwriter neural network, which will make it easier for writers to create dialogue for supporting characters. The use of technology will help make these characters more interesting and realistic.

Ubisoft has developed a neural network to create dialogues between secondary characters in games

About the new tool based on artificial intelligence technology, Ubisoft said on its blog.

The developers noted that the Ghostwriter neural network will not be able to completely replace the scriptwriter when writing dialogues, but it will help him a lot in his work.

The writer first creates a character and determines the style of their interaction or dialogue. The neural network, in turn, offers the author various work options that can be edited or improved. The pairwise comparison method will select the best option, and the neural network will learn itself about the scriptwriter’s choice.

Ubisoft hopes that the use of the Ghostwriter neural network will make supporting characters in computer games more realistic and interesting.
