A limited number of CS:GO players have already gained access to the closed test. More detailed information on how to become a test participant is yet to be announced.
According to the CS2 website, the game represents “the biggest technical leap in Counter-Strike history.” New features include redesigned maps, game-changing smoke bombs, and gameplay that doesn’t depend on server clicks.
Separately, it is noted that all CS:GO player items will be transferred to CS2.
