MTS bought the company DY Technologies, which is building a plant for the production of import-substituting components for cars. With this acquisition, MTS plans to develop the business vertical of its MTS-Auto structure.
The agreement was reported in the press service of MTS. According to data from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the transaction was closed on March 20, the sole founder of Di Wai Technologies LLC (DY Technologies legal entity) is MTS Auto LLC.
DY Technologies is building a plant for the production of automobile components at Technopolis Moscow: navigators, video recorders and other electronic devices. According to the company’s website, the launch of the plant will take place in 2023.
With the acquisition of DY Technologies, MTS intends to develop the business vertical of its MTS-Auto structure.
“It is planned to develop and launch connectivity products and telematics systems, hardware solutions for driving safety, in-flight multimedia and information systems with integrated ecosystem services from MTS and partners, as well as other systems as part of the development of the automotive electronics program at the production site,” the MTS company said.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Di Wai Technologies LLC was founded in 2019. At the end of 2021, the company received revenue in the amount of 30.8 million rubles with a net loss of 924 thousand rubles.
