As journalists noted, sending a video message on WhatsApp will be as easy as sending a voice message. Users will be able to press and hold the button to record a “circle” for up to 60 seconds. After you post a video, it will appear in your chat and play automatically.
Another interesting detail is that these short video messages will be end-to-end encrypted. They cannot be recorded or transmitted, but screenshots are allowed.
Unfortunately, it is not yet known whether WhatsApp plans to make short video messages available to everyone.
