We have already covered all the features and tricks of switching input languages in macOS. You can use them to customize how your Mac behaves according to your preferences.
It is not allowed to use only one option – enable Mac wide layouts for some applications. So, for example, a Mac could automatically switch to Russian when switching to Notes or in English when turned on Safari. There is a way to fix this with side applications.
📌 Thank you restore for useful information. 👌
How to set the input language for each application on a Mac
1. Download free software Keyboard Pilot from the Mac App Store.
2. Launch the app and activate it Launch Keyboard Pilot when you log inso that the application starts at system startup.
3. Introduced Keyboard Pilot programs are added from the collection.
4. For each application, select the desired layout.
Now, when switching to the specified program, the language will switch to the one specified in the parameters Keyboard Pilot. It may also be suggested to use the English layout for applications that do not work with short cuts in the included Russian input language.
