Since the beginning of 2023, Russians have increased spending on online subscriptions by 50%, Post Bank analysts said.

From January to March, total spending on online cinemas, music streaming and gaming platforms, e-books with bank cards increased by 1.5 times compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 57 million rubles.

The average online subscription check amounted to 300 rubles, there is a slight decrease in the indicator.

Muscovites spend the most on online subscriptions (5.5 million rubles since the beginning of the year), residents of the Moscow region (4.9 million rubles), St. Petersburg (3.7 million rubles) , the Sverdlovsk region (1.8 million rubles) and the Krasnodar Territory (1.7 million rubles).

Post Bank experts point out that spending growth was brought by music and gaming platforms, e-books, ecosystem services, while the profitability of online cinemas, on the contrary, has fallen by 25% since the beginning of anus.
