A Vitobox spokesman spoke about the deal.

The soft drink startup Drinksome was launched in December 2022. According to its own data, in the first quarter of 2023, the company signed distribution contracts worth more than 50 million rubles. Drinksome’s business is valued at $1 million.

Vitobox and Drinksome plan to develop a joint product matrix (rum, whiskey, tequila, tonic, craft beer and mocktails), launch sales throughout Russia and the CIS, and continue to expand into the Central Asian and North African markets. The products will be featured at HoReCa stands and sold through traditional retail channels, Vitobox reported.

Drinsome previously raised $50,000 from Vitobox co-founder Alexander Vuchenovich. In March, the Vitobox AI vitamin selection platform announced its entry into the markets of the United Arab Emirates, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.

In February, Vitobox bought a 30% stake in nanoemulsion beverage start-up Goatea for $1 million.
