The move away from traditional diesel fuel is a game-changing Yara initiative in the “race to decarbonise transport”, which accounts for 3% of global CO2 emissions. Ammonia, a cleaner alternative, will fuel Yara Eyde, saving 11,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year on the Norway-Germany route.

Given environmental concerns and cargo owners’ desire to reduce emissions, Yara Eyde promises competitive and environmentally friendly logistics.
