It is unlikely that the wide possibilities of artificial intelligence, people have yet to learn. A recent experiment by a team of scientists from Stanford University, the University of Singapore and the Chinese University of Hong Kong resulted in people’s minds being literally read. The essence of the experiment was to take data on brain activity in people after they showed teiliins. Then, by analyzing this data, I created my images.
It turned out that in 84% of cases, the neural network generated images, quickly perceiving the image in terms of such parameters as texture and color. The themes of the generated and original pictures also coincided. The researchers concluded that the study of the brain can provide enough information for a machine to get a fairly accurate idea of what a person is suffering from. Good results can be achieved after the neural network has gone through many hours of training.
The Mind-Vis neural network uses traffic containing 160,000 brain scans generated earlier. In the second part of the training, training is conducted on the scans of the focus group participants. Their brain activity was traumatized using MRI equipment.
This experience was just one of the observations, where the observations observe the activity of the brain and the work of the AI. It will take years of new research until the technology is developed and massively taken.
