iPhone Weather app is causing problems for many users
Apple is having issues with weather information data on its servers.
A large percentage of iPhone users are reporting serious issues with the Weather app. Apparently, Apple is experiencing glitches in its weather information provider, so many users are unable to view weather information and forecasts in a large number of regions around the world.

This issue seems to affect all kinds of devices on iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and macOS platforms.
Weather app experiencing problems
As reported by MacRumors, Apple is currently trying to fix this issue. While it can also be caused by a saturation of the servers where the Weather application data is hosted, we cannot rule out that there is an attacker exploiting a vulnerability in the system.
On the System Status web page, we can see that there is a problem with the Weather application, some users are affected and precipitation will not be available in Alaska for the next hour.

The rest of Apple’s services are completely stable.
As reported by the company behind the bitten apple logo, this Weather app issue has been affecting “some users” for about 5 hours and still persists.
Apple will likely fix the issue with their weather information providers in the next few hours. We will update this article when the issue is resolved.
