Motorola Edge 40 Pro announced this Tuesday in the European market (4). Based on the Motorola X40 launched in China in late 2022, the high-end smartphone boasts strong specs and an equally high price tag.
Compared to the Chinese version, the phone brings occasional appearance changes. The mobile retains the IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, but is made of lighter materials, has a smaller thickness and has Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
In the technical part, Motorola Edge 40 Pro uses Qualcomm’s premium Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor combined with 12GB of RAM. So customers can choose between versions with 256GB or 512GB internal space.
brings the model a 6.67-inch POLED display with only 1080p resolution. However, for higher image quality, the panel has a refresh rate of 165 Hz and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision technologies.

Running Android 13, the phone has 5G connections, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, Motorola’s Ready For functionality, USB-C port and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. Finally, the model has a 4,600 mAh battery with 125W “TurboPower” charging.
How much does Motorola Edge 40 Pro cost?
Motorola Edge 40 Pro, offered in Moon Blue (Blue) and Interstellar Black (Black) color options, enters the European market with prices starting from 900 Euros. The amount can be converted to something around R$5,010 (without any tax added).
The top model will launch in Latin America “in the coming weeks,” according to the brand. However, a possible release date has not been announced.
