The headphones dynamically adjust various settings to simulate your acoustic environment. Theoretically, using the available sensors, microphones and DSP, the headset can show you where you are – in the car, on the train, in the room, in the office, etc. – should be able to recognize.

The algorithm will then adjust the sound pressure, simulate the acoustics of the environment and also adjust the parameters of the original audio or video file.

It is not yet clear when exactly the AirPods that support this option will be released and whether they will come out.
