“Article 14 of the Consumer Defense Act (CDC) obliges the supplier to respond by repairing damages caused to consumers due to defects resulting from the provision of its services. In this way, it is the bank’s responsibility to ensure the quality and safety of the service provided without suffering any damage,” said Fábio Machado Pasin, attorney for Idec’s Financial Services Program.
