Xiaomi introduced smart glasses with the ability to talk on the phone and listen to music. The gadget is self-contained and can run for up to seven hours of talk time. The purchase is currently only available for pre-order.
The novelty is presented on the website of the official Xiaomi crowdfunding platform. The device is called Mijia Smart Audio Glasses.
The IP54 dust and water resistant smart glasses come in five designs, including tinted sunglasses and a version with special frames for corrective lenses.
Mijia smart audio glasses can connect two devices via Bluetooth at the same time. Functions can be controlled by voice and by touch elements on the temples.
With the glasses you can receive calls and talk on the phone, as well as listen to music. To do this, Xiaomi has equipped the built-in microphones with an active noise reduction system.
In music mode, the device can work up to ten hours on a single battery charge, in talk mode – up to seven hours.
For pre-order, the device will cost 799 yuan (9.5 thousand rubles). Sales outside of China have not yet been reported.
