The proposal was commented on by the press service of Roskomnadzor. The ministry said in a statement that 1,300 materials banned in Russia so far have been shared on Twitter. Including child pornography, drugs and suicidal content, messages calling for participation in riots and discrediting the Russian military. RKN’s press service also reported that “the distribution of other subversive content that contradicts traditional Russian spiritual and moral values continues.”
Also, according to the ministry, Russians do not lack knowledge “thanks to domestic social services”.
