One New scam involving Chinese brand name Shein It’s been floating around the internet lately. Videos of digital influencers promoting an app that supposedly guarantees easy money to rate fast fashion items circulating on social networks.

According to influencers, Shein would go bankrupt and hire people to evaluate products and increase sales with it. It will be enough for the user to just download the application, access the sections and evaluate “I like” or “I don’t like”. By doing this, the person will earn cash amounts per PIX directly through the app.

The coup was denounced on the networks by Guga Figueiredo, who is known for exposing misleading advertisements from influencers on Instagram. In the videos, Guga lists the names of influencers who helped spread the fake app to followers.

In the video, Figueiredo says, “Influencers earn commissions as well as scams because their names are on the payout links.” According to him, users are required to pay a fee of R$97 to download the fake app hosted on a site called “semtaxa.fun”.
