The press service of the mayor’s office noted that 77% of the components are Russian-made. And as Denis Manturov emphasized in his speech, “the level of our own technological solutions will increase every month.” According to him, this applies to both the electric motor and all electronics in the vehicle and, in the future, the batteries.
The name of the manufacturing company is “Electric Vehicles Manufacturing Rus”, the production facilities are located in the special economic zone “Technocity Moscow”.
The area of the production complex is more than 2700 square meters. It houses workshops for SKD assembly, metalworking and an electrical workshop. At the same time, the production of electric motors and on-board electronics is planned to start in the third quarter of 2023.
As mentioned, the EVM Pro electric truck is based on the UAZ Profi chassis. The mass of the electric car is 3.5 tons, the payload is up to 1 ton, and its maximum speed is 120 km/h. The car can travel up to 300 km on a single charge.
