Speaking at a briefing on April 14, Olson gave an assessment of Moscow and Beijing’s space activities, including plans for a joint lunar program. He also reminded that the only country whose representative has visited the moon so far is the USA.

The importance of the Earth satellite continues to all nations today, with the United States planning a new moon landing as part of the Artemis lunar program.

Competition in the space is likely to continue to intensify. And not just between countries – remember Elon Musk, who still dreams of colonizing Mars. And we can only observe all this from the outside.
