Microsoft announced the closing of the deal to buy Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion.

The purchase process lasted 20 months. The final stage was the approval of the transaction by the British antitrust regulator.

During the process, Microsoft entered into agreements with major cloud gaming companies. They get the rights to add Activision Blizzard games to their services.

Now the corporation is the owner of all international studios and publishers’ projects, including the rights to Call of Duty, World of Warcraft and Diablo. [Reuters]
