RTVE accuses Twitter of calling it “government funded media”.

RTBE Corporation issued a statement expressing his disagreeing with Twitter’s decision to tag them as “publicly funded media”. Spain’s public radio and television pointed out that the labels in the official reports were incorrect and contrary to their substance. “The corporation reaffirms editorial independence as one of its hallmarks,” he said.

RTVE is a public media outlet funded by a general budgetary appropriation approved by Parliament, as well as two other private sources of funding.
