The device is called Xbox Remix Special Edition. One-third is made up of a mix of post-consumer recycled resins and “shredded” plastic, which is industrial waste, in this case Xbox One controller parts.

The remix controller was introduced ahead of Earth Day, which is celebrated on April 22. In this regard, the device is designed in green and sand tones. The controller body features fragmented colored parts to create a unique look and texture.

Note that as part of Microsoft’s commitment to the environment, by 2030 it plans to be carbon negative and ensure that waste is fully utilized.
