Google taught the chatbot Bard to write code in 20 languages. In addition to creating code, the neural network will be able to explain, optimize and debug it. Scheduling has been one of the most popular queries since Bard’s launch, Google explained.
The Bard chatbot can now code in 20 languages, Google announced in a blog post.
Bard works with C++, Go, Java, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, and more. The chatbot explains the code it has created, which Google thinks will be very useful for novice programmers. Bard can also, at the request of the user, optimize and debug code in which errors were made.
The neural network was integrated with Google services, so Bard exports the code to the Colab development cloud and writes functions for Google.Tables.
Google clarified that Bard can make mistakes when generating code and will always link to its sources obtained from open source projects. The Bard developers warned that it is imperative to verify the result that the neural network created, because it is still in the testing stage.
