Will it work? See Honkai: Star Rail requirements on PC and mobile

Honkai: Star Rail is the new space RPG from developer Genshin Impact and is coming April 26. The game has been confirmed for the PlayStation 4 and 5, but will initially only be released for the PlayStation 4 and 5. PC, Android and iOS via Epic Games Store.

Like other HoYoverse games, Star Rail will have cross-play and cross-save, allowing you to play on both platforms and keeping your progress. Therefore, it is important to make sure that your PC and especially your mobile devices meet the requirements to run the new free game.

Honkai: Star Rail minimum requirements

Despite being a native mobile game, the developer team at HoYoverse goes to great lengths to ensure their games look as good as possible on all systems.

Therefore, even at minimum settings, the game may not be compatible with many mobile devices.

Minimum settings for iOS and Android

• android:
  • Processor: Snapdragon 835, Dimensity 720, Kirin 810 or better.
  • System: Android 7.0 or above
  • Memory: 4GB of RAM
• iphone: iPhone 8P, iPhone X or later (iOS 12).
• ipad: Apple A12 or later (October 2018; iOS 12)
• to store: 8GB

Minimum computer settings

• Processor: 6th generation Intel Core i5 or equivalent
• Memory: 8GB RAM
• video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or better
• to store: 15GB

Recommended Requirements

To take full advantage of Honkai: Star Rail’s stunning visuals, you’ll need some more robust settings.

Recommended settings for iOS and Android

  • Processor: Snapdragon 855, Kirin 990, Dimensity 1000 or better.
  • System: Android 8.1 or above
  • Memory: 4GB of RAM
• iphone: iPhone XS, iPhone XR or later.
• ipad: Apple A12 or later (October 2018; iOS 12)
• to store: 8GB

Recommended computer settings

• Processor: 6th generation Intel Core i7 or equivalent
• Memory: 8GB RAM
• video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB) or better.
• to store: 15GB

please note this recommended requirements represent the recommended standard for optimal experience, but 4k textures and ultra graphics are not mandatory. It’s also important to note that when it comes to storage, updates tend to gradually increase this requirement.

Honkai: Star Rail client will be made available on the 23rd to avoid congested servers leading to slow downloads as with the release of Genshin Impact.
